General Conditions and Responsibility
  1. Grand Holidays does its utmost to ensure the tour itinerary and hotel accommodations are arranged as advertised.
  2. In case of any unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances, including but not limited to holiday seasons, exhibitions, adverse weather, airlines' flight change, technical problems of transport vehicles, strikes, political upheavals, etc., Grand Holidays accepts no responsibility for any consequences and reserves the right to adjust the tour arrangements, for examples, change tour itinerary or hotels, cancel/substitute attractions, etc. Tour participants shall understand and abide such changes.
  3. All activities in the itinerary are planned and arranged based on overall needs or preference of the tour group. Tour participants shall follow the guidelines and instructions of the tour leader at all time. They should also evaluate their age, physical conditions, nature of activity, weather, etc. or seek advice from doctors or professionals in order to access whether they should participate those activities and agree to accept full responsibility and consequences that may arise.
  4. We assume no liability to any consequences in association with our travel partners or any other third parties (airlines, cruises, trains, coach buses, hotels, restaurants, etc.) in event of circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to flight delays, lost/damaged luggage, etc. Any concerns or correspondences should be addressed to the specific party directly.
  5. Even if tour participants hold valid entry visas and travel documents and are refused entry by the immigration or customs officers when entering the visiting country, Grand Holidays will not accept any responsibility.
  6. When the total number of the tour participants falls below 10, Grand Holidays reserves the right to cancel the tour at any time. Tour participants will receive full refund of tour fares they have paid to Grand Holidays.
  7. For sake of the overall tour group, tour participants shall follow tour guide or leader’s reasonable guidelines on safety issues and time schedule. Any nonobservance may result in being discharged from the tour without any refund or compensation. Grand Holidays will not be responsible for such participant’s subsequent actions or arrangements.
  8. Grand Holidays accepts no responsibility for value, reliability, quality or authenticity of any goods being purchased while on tour.
Travel Insurance
  • Grand Holidays strongly recommend all tour participants to purchase comprehensive travel insurance for their protections against trip interruption or cancellation, overseas medical and hospitalization expenses, baggage loss, etc. Grand Holidays acts as an agent for suppliers of transportation, sightseeing and hotel accommodations, all terms and conditions will be borne by the respective suppliers, and Grand Holidays shall be exempt from any liability for loss or damage to tour participants’ own property, personal injury and accidents, trip interruption or delays, irregularities or other occurrences beyond its control.
International Tours – Reservation, Change & Cancellation, Travel Documents & Visas, and Travel Reminders
  1. Reservation: When making your reservation, you must provide a copy of your current passport (with minimum 6-month validity). Name correction will be subject to change fee and/or penalty.
  2. Payment: A deposit of US$1000 per person is required upon confirmation of your reservation and remaining balance must be paid at least 90 days before tour departure. Otherwise, your reservation will be automatically canceled without prior notice and the deposit paid will be forfeited. Valid promotion code must be entered when booking in order to enjoy the relevant discount. Any retroactive claim will not be accepted.
  3. Booking Confirmation: Upon completion of your online reservation, the system will automatically send the relevant booking confirmation to your email address, and our Reservation Specialists will contact you shortly.
  4. Cancellation or Change Policy
    1. Cancellation or change request must be submitted to our Tour Department in writing either by fax or email. Request by phone is not acceptable.
    2. The following processing fee will be charged based on the numbers of days prior to tour departure upon our receipt of your request.

        30 – 89 days US$500
        15 – 29 days US$800
        Within 14 days Non-Refundable
    3. For tour with air packages, if ticket is already issued at time of cancellation, it will be handled according to the airline’s change and cancellation policy and you may also be subject to airlines' processing fee and/or penalty, which is usually US$300 per person.
    4. Refund proceeds will be credited back to the original form of payment; if payment is made by credit card, the refund processing time and all terms are determined by the credit card company, and you are solely responsible for any losses that may occur due to currency exchange.
Travel Documents and Visas
  1. Tour participants should ensure that they possess passport with validity of minimum 6 months from the departure date of return trip, required visas prior to travel and enough blank pages for entry.
  2. Tour participants’ passport photocopies are collected for our tour operations and information verification purposes only. It is tour participants’ responsibility to understand the entry and exit regulations of destination countries and obtain any required visas prior to their travel. In event of refusal of boarding or entry to any destination country, no reimbursement of tour cost or any forms of compensation will be provided. Tour participants will be responsible for own expenses of any subsequent arrangements.
Travel Reminders
  1. Tour fare includes all meals, sightseeing, economy class round trip air tickets and items as specified in the itineraries.
  2. Tour fare does not include:
    1. Personal expenses, including but not limited to phone call and internet, beverages, laundry, travel insurance, luggage fee, etc.
    2. Optional tours.
    3. Additional expenses arising from tour participants’ early arrival or extended stay.
    4. Gratuities to tour leaders, guides and drivers.
    5. Any incidental expenses incurred due to any personal reason, trip interruption, strikes, adverse weather or any other uncontrollable circumstances, etc.
    6. Visa application or related fees.
    7. Fee of COVID-19 tests as required by destination countries.
  3. Tour participants under the age of 18 must travel with a parent or adult guardian.
  4. Hotel accommodation is based on double occupancy. Single supplement will be applied to solo-travelers.
  5. Grand Holidays reserves the right to change hotel of same rating without prior notice when the specified hotel is not available.
  6. For any reason if you leave the group on your own during the tour or do not participate in any group activities, including meals, attractions, accommodation, etc. you will be deemed to have given up voluntarily. The fees paid will not be refunded, and no other alternative activities will be arranged.
  7. Each tour participant is allowed to carry one carry-on luggage (22in x14in x 9in) weighing up to 15lb and one check-in luggage weighing up to 50lb (please refer to airline’s website for exact allowances & guidelines).
US/Canada Domestic Tours – Reservation, Change & Cancellation, and Travel Reminders
  1. Reservation:When making a reservation, you must provide your correct name and contact number that we can reach you.
  2. Payment:Full payment is required at time of your online reservation. Valid promotion code must be entered in order to enjoy the relevant discount. Any retroactive claim will not be accepted.
  3. Cancellation or Change Policy
    1. Cancellation or change request must be submitted to Grand Holidays Tour Department in writing either by fax or email. Request by phone is not acceptable.
    2. The following processing fee will be charged based on the numbers of days prior to tour departure upon our receipt of your request:

    3. For tours with air/train packages, if the ticket has already been issued at time of cancellation, it will be handled according to the airline/train company’s change and cancellation policy and you may also be subject to their processing fee and/or penalty charge.
    4. All train tours cannot be changed or cancelled upon confirmation. No refund will be issued for all activities, meals, admissions or hotel accommodations included in the itinerary.
    5. Refund proceeds will be credited back to the original form of payment; if payment is made by credit card, the refund processing time and all terms are determined by the credit card company, and you are solely responsible for any losses that may occur due to currency exchange.
  4. Travel Reminders
    1. For any reason if you leave the group on your own during the tour or do not participate in any group activities, including meals, attractions, accommodation, etc. you will be deemed to have given up voluntarily. The fees paid will not be refunded, and no other alternative activities will be arranged.
    2. For the sake of fairness, the tour guide will change the seating arrangements once a day.
    3. Hotel accommodation is based on one or two beds for double rooms and two beds for triple or quadruple rooms. Each room can accommodate up to 4 persons. Single supplement will be applied to solo-travelers. Smoking is prohibited is all hotel rooms; otherwise, tour participants will be fully liable to any fine or cleaning fee imposed by the hotels.
    4. In the event of special circumstances, such as adverse weather, traffic incidents, etc., the company reserves the right to change or cancel the itinerary, and group members shall understand and abide such changes. The company will not be responsible for any compensation if any part of the itinerary is delayed, changed or canceled beyond our control. Any extra costs that may arise from such change in itinerary will be fully responsible by the tour participants.

Tour participants are deemed to have read and agreed the above terms and conditions before reservation.

Note: Grand Holidays reserves right to the final interpretation. In case of any discrepancies, the English version shall prevail.
